New River Gorge Elopement Photos | Fayetteville, WV Photographer | Alex & shane

The Couple

This day began with Alex & Shane getting ready with their family in a house they rented in Hico, West Virginia. After a very sweet first look we jumped in our cars and headed to Bridge Buttress Overlook in the New River Gorge National Park. We each climbed up the little rock scramble to reach the overlook and set up for the ceremony. Alex & Shane got to exchange loving vows and literally tie the knot in front of their immediate family members and their dog Nobi. Next came family portraits and of course bride & groom portraits where these two wanted to do some rappelling shots to show their love of climbing. This was such a unique and special elopement and I had the most fun being able to photograph it.
