The Elopement

Katelyn & Eric decided to elope on top of Diamond Point at Endless Wall in the beautiful New River Gorge. Twenty of their closest friends and family had come with them to watch their intimate wedding ceremony. First, this day began with Eric arriving before Katelyn at the Endless Wall Trailhead so they could do a first look near the beginning of the trail. I set Eric up about 5 minutes down the trail and went back to go get Katelyn. Katelyn arrived all ready to go in her gorgeous wedding dress and veil. We walked to where Eric was standing and I let the magic unfold during their first look. Eric’s reaction to seeing Katelyn for the first time was priceless. After the first look, we grabbed some awesome photos of the bride & groom along the trail and we made our way to Diamond Point. Their wedding guests had hiked along the way with us and had also made it to the ceremony location on time. Once everyone was settled, Katelyn emerged from the trail to walk down the aisle, accompanied by her loving mother. Katelyn & Eric had wrote their own vows, creating such a heartwarming experience. Finally, these two said, “I do” and got married!! We grabbed some photos with their wedding guests and then began taking more portraits of this wonderful couple with the scenic overlooks at Endless Wall. After portraits, we headed back to the parking lot and went our separate ways. Katelyn & Eric celebrated the rest of their night with their wedding guests at the Arrowhead Bike Farm. I couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple.
