Mt. Defiance Cider Barn Wedding Photos | Middleburg, VA Photographer | Morgan & Ty
This wonderful day began with Morgan & Ty getting ready in different locations. Morgan got ready with her sister and sister-in-law at Stone Gables Bed & Breakfast. After getting ready she did a very sweet first look with her father and his reaction was incredibly heartwarming. Next we headed to the venue where Ty finished getting ready with the help of his brothers and parents and then I set him up for his first look with his beautiful bride. Ty’s reaction to seeing Morgan for the first time on their wedding day was just priceless. Some tears were flowing and smiles were everywhere. We grabbed some family formals and then headed to the ceremony! This ceremony was filled with so many amazing moments. First, Ty and Morgan left sunflowers on an empty chair in memory of Morgan’s late mother and the gesture was just so heartwarming. These two exchanged loving vows that they wrote for one another and then they said, “I do!” After the ceremony we grabbed some lovely bride & groom portraits and then headed to the reception where these two immediately shared their first dance! The night was filled with their wonderful wedding guests, dancing, sunset sessions, and finally an amazing sparkler exit. I couldn’t be happier for these amazing human beings and wish them all the best in their future!
Blackwater Falls State Park Wedding Photos | Davis, WV Photographer | Michelle & Rob
Michelle & Rob’s wedding day was full of so many amazing moments. These two began their day getting ready at different cabins in Blackwater Falls State Park! After getting ready, we headed to the ceremony where we made the last minute call to have it under the reception tent due to rain. Even though the rain made us go with plan B, Michelle & Robert’s wedding ceremony was so beautiful. They exchanged their own written vows and said, “I do.“ in front of their family and friends. Next we got some family formals and wedding party photos and then the newlyweds stood out in the rain and fog for some memorable bride & groom portraits. Next came the reception where these two danced the night away surrounded by their wonderful wedding guests.
The Gaines Estate Wedding Photos | Fayetteville, WV Photographer | Shelby & Jacob
Shelby & Jacob’s wedding day was full of happy people and beautiful moments. The day began with these two getting ready in separate rooms at the Gaines Estate. After getting ready, Jacob popped a bottle of champagne to have a drink with the guys before the ceremony. Shelby did something similar, but instead shared drinks of moonshine with her girls right before the ceremony in true West Virginia fashion. As the ceremony began, Jacob’s reaction to seeing Shelby for the first time was truly moving. Tears were shed and smiles grew as family and friends watched the ceremony take place. These two wrote their own vows for their ceremony which left everyone’s hearts melted. After reading their vows, these two exchanged rings and became married! After the ceremony came family formals, wedding party photos, and some bride & groom portraits right as the sun was setting. Next came the reception where the newlyweds danced the night away with their wonderful family and friends.
Coopers Rock State Forest Wedding Photos | Morgantown, WV Photographer | Abby & Jack
This amazing day began with Abby & Jack getting ready on separate floors of an Airbnb in Morgantown, WV. I was greeted by some free range chickens before I entered the airbnb and after that I knew it was gonna be a good day. Abby was getting ready with her bridesmaids on the second and third floors while Jack got ready with his groomsmen on the first floor. After getting ready, we packed up and headed to Coopers Rock State Forest for the first look! Once I arrived at the parking lot, I made sure I grabbed Jack and set him up and the overlook. Once he was set up, I told Abby he was ready and she followed me over to do the first look. Jack’s reaction to seeing Abby for the first time was absolutely priceless. We jumped right into bride and groom portraits at the overlook and I couldn’t have asked for a better session with these two, even though it did rain! After bride & groom portraits, we did wedding party next and this group was so awesome even though it was raining for the majority of this part. Eventually, we moved from the overlook to a tree covered area and put away the umbrellas. Following wedding party, was the ceremony where Abby was walked down the aisle by her step-father first, then given to her dad which was such a beautiful moment. Abby & Jack were married by their pastor in front of their friends and family. Once they said, “I do” the headed back up the aisle! Immediately after the ceremony we did family formals and then headed to the reception where first dances took place, cupcakes were cut, and memories were made. Abby & Jack had a beautiful send off and left their wedding day the getaway car! Congrats to this wonderful couple.
