Courtni & Dylan’s wedding day began with these two getting ready on different levels at the beautiful Stone House Lavender. After these two got ready with their people, they exchanged letters and gifts before their ceremony. Once they were ready to go, they headed to their ceremony where Dylan had the sweetest reaction to seeing Courtni walk down the aisle. These two exchanged loving vows and even planted a tree together during their ceremony. They sealed the deal with the kiss and said “I do.” After the ceremony we took some great family formals, photos with the wedding party, and finally bride & groom portraits! Stone House Lavender has such a lovely venue and makes a great backdrop for photos! Next came the reception where the newlyweds celebrated all night long with their family and friends. They ended the night with a light-up exit.

Kelliann & Trevor’s wedding day with these two getting ready with their families in separate cabins at the Confluence Resort. After getting ready, we headed to the private overlook where the ceremony was being held. Kelliann & Trevor exchanged loving vows and wedding rings and before I knew it, they were married! We did some wonderful family formals after and even included Kelli’s dog, Frank, in a few! Next we got to explore the property at the Confluence and take photos at the most scenic locations. Once we got some gorgeous photos of the newlyweds we headed to the reception where these two celebrated their new marriage with their family and friends all night long.

Katie & Ryan’s day began with these two getting ready with their girls and guys in separate rooms at the Gaines Estate. After Katie finished getting ready she did the sweetest first look with her dad which brought tears to everyones eyes. She also did a first look with her bridesmaids and their reactions were amazing. Next came the ceremony where Katie & Ryan exchanged loving vows and said, “I do.” After the ceremony we grabbed some family formal photos, wedding party photos, and lastly bride and groom portraits. The Gaines Estate’s lovely grounds make the perfect backdrop for elegant and timeless photos. At the reception, lots of dances took place, a golden pom-pom exit, and some poses with the getaway car. Overall this wedding was so much fun to capture and I wish Katie & Ryan all the joy in the world.

Allison & Bryan’s wedding day began with these two getting ready at the Resort at Glades Springs. After getting ready, these two decided to do a first look before the ceremony. Bryan’s reaction to seeing Allison for the first time on their wedding day was extremely heartwarming. We took a few portraits after but quickly headed to the ceremony location and grabbed as many family portraits as we could before the ceremony. We actually moved the ceremony up in time to try to avoid rain. Once the ceremony started, some sprinkles of rain made an appearance but that didn’t put a damper on this wonderful day. Allison & Bryan exchanged loving vows and said “I do.” After the ceremony we got more family formals and then go to explore the many scenic locations at the Glade Springs Resort. After we shuttled around taking photos as we went, we headed to the reception. Allison & Bryan got to spend their evening surrounded by their amazing wedding guests. Typically this is where my time with the couple ends but not with these two! The next day we headed to the New River Gorge National Park at the Grandview Overlook to take some more picturesque wedding portraits with stunning views and a full bloom of rhododendron flowers. My time with Allison & Bryan was so much fun and I had the best time working with them. Congrats to the newly-weds!
