5 Things You Might Forget When Wedding Planning

Wedding planning can be very hectic so you’re bound to forget a few items to write down on your to-do list. Here are a few major things to think about that are commonly forgotten when planning your dream wedding.

The Do-Not-Play List

Creating a do-not-play list to give to your DJ is great way to ensure that you’re jamming out at your reception.

Shoe Change

After the ceremony, you have the rest of the night to dance and party. High heels might not be the best option for the dance floor. Bringing an extra pair of shoes to the reception or even after the ceremony might be the best thing for your feet.

Transportation

Transportation is a broad thing to think about. You might be traversing your venue’s property when taking wedding party or bride & groom photos and grabbing a golf cart will definitely be easier at transporting everyone.

You also will need a plan if you’re not getting ready at the venue. Who is driving? Will you hire a driver? Or someone from the wedding party will drive? How will you be leaving the reception as well? Maybe renting a cool car and leaving in style or going out simply? Transportation is a huge thing to think about that sometimes can get left out of the conversation.

Don’t Forget to Eat!

Your wedding is going to be such a fun and busy day so it will be easy to forget to eat before and after the ceremony. As you’re getting ready it’s important to make sure you’re eating a full meal. Even after the ceremony when you might be taking photos, it’s okay to ask your bridesmaid or wedding planner to grab you some appetizers from cocktail hour. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water throughout the day too!

Sunset Photos

Sunset photos are often forgotten since this usually happens during the reception. Sneaking out for even just 15 minutes makes a world of difference for your photos. That perfect lighting and romantic sunset is something you do not want to miss out on your wedding day.
