Ace Adventure Resort Elopement Photos | New River Gorge National Park Photographer | Alisa & Austin |

Alisa & Austin’s wedding day was simply amazing. These two started their day with a first look at one of my favorite overlooks in the New River Gorge National Park. Austin’s reaction to seeing Alisa was so perfect. After their first look, we grabbed some bride & groom portraits at this stunning location. Next we grabbed more wedding party photos and headed to the venue! The ceremony location was at Ace Adventure Resort’s Concho Deck Overlook which views the smallest town in West Virginia; Thurmond. At the ceremony, these two exchanged loving vows and said, “I do!” After the ceremony, we grabbed some family formal photos and headed to the Lost Paddle, Ace’s on site restaurant for the reception. The newlyweds shared a brownie cake and ate some awesome food while they celebrated with their family and friends.

Endless Wall Elopement Photos | Fayetteville, WV Photographer | Erin & Jerry

Erin & Jerry’s wild and wonderful elopement was one for the books. Originally, these two planned to hike the Endless Wall Trail and have their ceremony at the stunning overlook at Diamond Point. However, like any other wedding or elopement, sometimes things don’t go according to plan and it worked in our favor for this special day. Jerry’s grandmother hiked out with us and due to an accident earlier in December, she wasn’t up to hiking all the way to the overlook, so we made it halfway to the very beautiful Fern Creek. Since it had been in the 80s’s all week, the creek was dry so it ended up being the perfect location for Erin & Jerry’s ceremony!

Erin hiked in after Jerry so they didn’t see each other before the ceremony. It was such a sweet moment when Erin was escorted by her father across the trail and walked over the rocks to meet Jerry. An important piece of this union was the couple had their friends and family bring a meaningful picture of either the bride and groom and speak about the photo and then hung it on the tapestry that they made. Lots of happy tears were shed, it brought so much meaning to this elopement. Erin & Jerry exchanged loving vows and said “I do” in front of their close family and friends.

After the ceremony, we grabbed some family formal photos at the ceremony location and then Erin, Jerry, and I headed over to Diamond Point for some bride & groom portraits. The views were so stunning and the weather was amazing. After we grabbed some amazing portraits, we headed back to the trailhead, taking more photos along the way. Next came the reception at a very beautiful Airbnb right above the Wild Blue Adventure Company. Their “thrifted / homemade” wedding theme went well with their homemade and locally sourced food. Did I also mention that Erin’s dress was a thrifted 1920’s wedding dress? How cool is that! These two ended the night with cutting and eating the cake, made by Erin’s aunt. It was a yummy way to end the night! I could not be happier for this wonderful couple.

Beauty Mountain Elopement Photos | Fayetteville, WV Photographer | Jamie & Troy

I first met Jamie & Troy over a video chat back in early September. We discussed how they envisioned their wedding day and how due to COVID-19 they felt that the most important thing was to marry each other in a place that they both love. As rock climbers, Jamie & Troy fell in love with the New River Gorge. After some consideration, they decided that Beauty Mountain was the perfect location for their intimate elopement ceremony.

Garden of the Gods Elopement Photos | Colorado Springs, CO Photographer | Hanna & Chase

Hanna & Chase had originally gotten married back in March at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. They were married at Garden of the Gods by Chase’s father. Since they had a smaller ceremony, they only had iPhone photos of their special day. Hanna had wanted some professional photos of her and her new husband all dolled up in the place they said, “I do” and I was so happy and excited to do this for them. These newlyweds will have a bigger reception in 2021. Congrats Hanna & Chase!
