I had the awesome opportunity to photograph James Madison University’s Mozaic Dance Team on November 15th, 2019. This talented group of people were great models for our 2 hour session and we got some amazing photos of these dancers. Mozaic went on to compete at Prelude Dance Competition in Richmond the next day, and placed 2nd place! Shout out to this wonderful group of people.

This awesome engagement session took place on a scenic mountainside overlook within the stunning New River Gorge in Fayetteville, West Virginia. We hiked out to this gorgeous scene about an hour before sunset, giving us plenty of time with that beautiful lighting to get some picturesque portraits of this lovely couple.

April in Harrisonburg means graduation shoots with JMU seniors! It’s a busy time for local photographers and students alike. Spring time in Harrisonburg is just a beautiful time to take photos. Beautiful flowers are in bloom, warm weather, and (mostly) sunny days create the perfect atmosphere for photography. I had the opportunity to work with JMU grad, Anna and her friends to create some awesome memories for everyone involved. Here are the results:

I had the opportunity to do a family portrait session with this wonderful family of five on the 6th of April on a warm spring day. We did the photo shoot at the historic Jennie Dean Park located in Manassas, Virginia, surrounded by short stone walls, echoing the buildings that once stood there. We first started off with family shots, then group shots of the the kids, then couple shots, and of course some cute pics with the parents and their little one! Everyone was a joy to work with and the results were awesome! Here’s the results:
