Bridge Buttress Engagement Photos | Fayetteville, WV Photographer | Quinn & Michael
Quinn & Michael are actually some good friends of mine that were visiting me and my roommates in Fayetteville, West Virginia. I asked them if they would be my models for the evening and they agreed! We hiked up to one of my favorite overlooks of the New River Gorge Bridge and took some amazing shots with this wonderful couple. Here are the results!
Coopers Rock State Forest Wedding Photos | Morgantown, WV Photographer | Abby & Jack
This amazing day began with Abby & Jack getting ready on separate floors of an Airbnb in Morgantown, WV. I was greeted by some free range chickens before I entered the airbnb and after that I knew it was gonna be a good day. Abby was getting ready with her bridesmaids on the second and third floors while Jack got ready with his groomsmen on the first floor. After getting ready, we packed up and headed to Coopers Rock State Forest for the first look! Once I arrived at the parking lot, I made sure I grabbed Jack and set him up and the overlook. Once he was set up, I told Abby he was ready and she followed me over to do the first look. Jack’s reaction to seeing Abby for the first time was absolutely priceless. We jumped right into bride and groom portraits at the overlook and I couldn’t have asked for a better session with these two, even though it did rain! After bride & groom portraits, we did wedding party next and this group was so awesome even though it was raining for the majority of this part. Eventually, we moved from the overlook to a tree covered area and put away the umbrellas. Following wedding party, was the ceremony where Abby was walked down the aisle by her step-father first, then given to her dad which was such a beautiful moment. Abby & Jack were married by their pastor in front of their friends and family. Once they said, “I do” the headed back up the aisle! Immediately after the ceremony we did family formals and then headed to the reception where first dances took place, cupcakes were cut, and memories were made. Abby & Jack had a beautiful send off and left their wedding day the getaway car! Congrats to this wonderful couple.
The Cadle Farm Wedding Photos | Grassy Meadows, WV Photographer | Emma & Matt
What an amazing day! Emma & Matt’s wedding began with the couple getting ready on separate floors of the Cadle House. Emma & Matt got ready with her close friends and family and Emma’s friend did her makeup and her mother & sister did her hair! Once everyone was finished getting ready, we headed to the ceremony. Emma walked herself down the aisle and you could just tell that Matt was super excited to see her for the first time on their wedding day. They wrote their own vows which was super thoughtful and sweet and before you knew it they got married! I snagged the couple and their families for some family formals as well as the bride & groom portraits. We walked around the venue and even hiked up a hill to get some great views of the rolling countryside. It truly was a beautiful day and a beautiful venue. Next came the reception where there was amazing food, lovely decor, and awesome people celebrating Emma & Matt’s new marriage. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Congrats to the newly-weds!

This beautiful day began with Camille & Peter getting ready at Stone Gables Bed & Breakfast in separate rooms. After getting ready, Camille & Peter decided to do a first look and Peter’s reaction was so sweet. We grabbed some lovely portraits of this amazing couple, walking and exploring the property along the way. Next came the ceremony where Peter’s dad officiated, creating everlasting memories for this beautiful couple and their guests. They wrote their own vows which was incredibly sweet and moving and then they said, “I do!” Immediately after the ceremony, we grabbed some family formal photos along with their wedding party and then headed to the reception! There were first dances, father-daughter, mother-son dances, lovely toasts, and cake cutting! The whole dessert table was also made by the bride, Camille! How cool is that?? Overall, this wedding was so wonderful and heartwarming. I am so happy for Camille & Peter and wish them nothing but the best.
