Valley View Farm Wedding Photos | Lewisburg, WV Photographer | Lacey & Eli
Lacey & Eli’s wedding day began with this couple getting ready in separate locations. Eli got ready at an airbnb he rented while Lacey got ready at the General Lewis Inn in Lewisburg, West Virginia. After both the bride and groom got ready, we headed to venue for the first look! Eli’s reaction to seeing Lacey for the first time was so sweet. After the first look, we grabbed some bride & groom portraits around the venue and I have to say, there are so many cool spots to explore at Valley View Farm. Next, we grabbed wedding party photos and then headed to the ceremony! The ceremony location viewed the mountains creating a beautiful scene for this wedding. So many kind and loving words were spoken at this ceremony and before I knew it, these two said, “I do!” Next came cocktail hour where there was a charcuterie table, cotton candy stand, and popcorn machine! Games were set out for the guests to enjoy before the reception started. The reception was so beautifully decorated and the catering was great! Some speeches were given by the best man and maid of honor after dinner and before we knew it, the night ended with a sparkler exit! I am wishing the very best to Lacey & Eli!
St. Thomas Aquinas Church Wedding Photos | Thomas, WV Photographer | Michelle & Cody
Michelle & Cody’s special day began with these two getting ready in separate locations. Michelle got ready at her rental with the help of her sister. After getting ready, Michelle was pleasantly surprised by her family singing to her in some bridal themed attire. Next, Michelle headed over to their venue which happened to be Cody’s family cabin! They decided to do their first look there and Cody’s reaction to seeing Michelle for the first time on their wedding day was simply perfect. We grabbed some family formals and bride & groom portraits before heading to Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Thomas, WV. A traditional Catholic ceremony was held and then this awesome couple was married! Next came the reception where we headed back to the family cabin for appetizers and dinner, which was catered by Cody’s very own restaurant! The newlyweds shared a first dance and enjoyed their evening surrounded by their family and friends. I snagged the couple for some sunset photos and then let them enjoy the rest of the night, dancing away with their wonderful guests. It was a pleasure to work with these amazing people.
Mt. Defiance Cider Barn Wedding Photos | Middleburg, VA Photographer | Morgan & Ty
This wonderful day began with Morgan & Ty getting ready in different locations. Morgan got ready with her sister and sister-in-law at Stone Gables Bed & Breakfast. After getting ready she did a very sweet first look with her father and his reaction was incredibly heartwarming. Next we headed to the venue where Ty finished getting ready with the help of his brothers and parents and then I set him up for his first look with his beautiful bride. Ty’s reaction to seeing Morgan for the first time on their wedding day was just priceless. Some tears were flowing and smiles were everywhere. We grabbed some family formals and then headed to the ceremony! This ceremony was filled with so many amazing moments. First, Ty and Morgan left sunflowers on an empty chair in memory of Morgan’s late mother and the gesture was just so heartwarming. These two exchanged loving vows that they wrote for one another and then they said, “I do!” After the ceremony we grabbed some lovely bride & groom portraits and then headed to the reception where these two immediately shared their first dance! The night was filled with their wonderful wedding guests, dancing, sunset sessions, and finally an amazing sparkler exit. I couldn’t be happier for these amazing human beings and wish them all the best in their future!
Blackwater Falls State Park Wedding Photos | Davis, WV Photographer | Michelle & Rob
Michelle & Rob’s wedding day was full of so many amazing moments. These two began their day getting ready at different cabins in Blackwater Falls State Park! After getting ready, we headed to the ceremony where we made the last minute call to have it under the reception tent due to rain. Even though the rain made us go with plan B, Michelle & Robert’s wedding ceremony was so beautiful. They exchanged their own written vows and said, “I do.“ in front of their family and friends. Next we got some family formals and wedding party photos and then the newlyweds stood out in the rain and fog for some memorable bride & groom portraits. Next came the reception where these two danced the night away surrounded by their wonderful wedding guests.
