Congrats! You’re newly engaged and looking to see what’s next on your wedding planning checklist. There’s a lot of things to do and check off before you walk down the aisle and say, “I do.” Typically, weddings takes around a year to plan. Since COVID-19 happened, graduation itself has been a bit of a whirlwind for 2020 graduates. These JMU seniors did graduate this past May, however their actual graduation has been postponed till August 7-8. Graduation sessions usually take place in Late March and all of April, however because of the latest pandemic, most people have waited till it was safer to do so.

These four ladies were roommates while they studied at JMU and decided to their grad pics together. We decided to start their grad session at 7:30am for that cooler June weather and less people would be outside. We got some amazing shots of these awesome grads, celebrating the four years they put into college.

The mountain state is a beautiful place to get married and with many options to do so, I’ve narrowed down my top 10 favorite West Virginia wedding venues! From gorgeous resorts to awesome farms, West Virginia has the most scenic and memorable wedding venues in the country.

This awesome portrait session took place in Lucketts, Virginia, home to the curious place of finding vintage knick knacks and other unique, interesting, and precious miscellaneous items. There is so much to see here and all their unique items serve as a great backdrop for portraits! The Bakers were awesome to photograph! Their sweet 18 month old son, Maverick, was a blast to capture as he has the cutest smile. They also brought their one year old Great Dane, Crew, for their family photo shoot.
