Katelyn & Eric decided to elope on top of Diamond Point at Endless Wall in the beautiful New River Gorge. Twenty of their closest friends and family had come with them to watch their intimate wedding ceremony. First, this day began with Eric arriving before Katelyn at the Endless Wall Trailhead so they could do a first look near the beginning of the trail. I set Eric up about 5 minutes down the trail and went back to go get Katelyn. Katelyn arrived all ready to go in her gorgeous wedding dress and veil. We walked to wear Eric was standing and I let the magic unfold during their first look. Eric’s reaction to seeing Katelyn for the first time was priceless. After the first look, we grabbed some awesome photos of the bride & groom along the trail and we made our way to Diamond Point. Their wedding guests had hiked along the way with us and had also made it to the ceremony location on time. Once everyone was settled, Katelyn emerged from the trail to walk down the aisle, accompanied by her loving mother. Katelyn & Eric had wrote their own vows, creating such a heartwarming experience. Finally, these two said, “I do” and got married!! We grabbed some photos with their wedding guests and then began taking more portraits of this wonderful couple with the scenic overlooks at Endless Wall. After portraits, we headed back to the parking lot and went our separate ways. Katelyn & Eric celebrated the rest of their night with their wedding guests at the Arrowhead Bike Farm. I couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple.

Mary Kate and Luke traveled all the way from Alabama to have their engagement photos taken at the stunning New River Gorge, located in Fayetteville, West Virginia. We started hiking, taking photos along the way amongst the hemlock grove and growing rhododendron. An outfit change and moments later we make it to our first overlook where we grabbed some amazing photos. Next, we headed to Diamond Point, one of my favorite overlooks at Endless Wall. You can’t beat these views! The gorge, river, and beautiful changing foliage made this session perfect. We grabbed some more awesome photos of Mary Kate & Luke at Diamond Point which completed this wonderful evening.

I first met Jamie & Troy over a video chat back in early September. We discussed how they envisioned their wedding day and how due to COVID-19 they felt that the most important thing was to marry each other in a place that they both love. As rock climbers, Jamie & Troy fell in love with the New River Gorge. After some consideration, they decided that Beauty Mountain was the perfect location for their intimate elopement ceremony.

Hanna & Chase had originally gotten married back in March at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. They were married at Garden of the Gods by Chase’s father. Since they had a smaller ceremony, they only had iPhone photos of their special day. Hanna had wanted some professional photos of her and her new husband all dolled up in the place they said, “I do” and I was so happy and excited to do this for them. These newlyweds will have a bigger reception in 2021. Congrats Hanna & Chase!
